What are Dedicated IPs for Minecraft? Print

  • 2

Dedicated IPs would mean you will have the 19132/25565 ports. Meaning a player on bedrock can use the default port which is 19132 and for Java they would not need to put the IP with the port and just connect using 127.0.0.1 instead of 127.0.0.1:25565

We provide Dedicated IPs for 3.00$ a month as a service addon to any Minecraft Servers. Any services that have 10GB or higher have the rights to request for a FREE Dedicated IP. To purchase the Dedciated IP simply tick this box when checking out!

What is the difference between having a Dedicated IP and not having one?

The difference between having a Dedicated IP would mean

  • For Bedrock players can use the default 19132 and for Java they will not need to put the full IP when connecting or if you use a domain.
  • Allows you to have both Java (25565) and Bedrock (19132) ports. Simply open a ticket to have a java port added.
  • When having the Dedicated IP you will have less issues connecting to the server and adding it to your domain. (Meaning you will not need to use any sort of SRV records)
  • You will be having a non-shared IP (Meaning you will not be sharing IPs with other users on the host and it will be dedicated to you.)

The difference of not having the Dedicated IP would mean

  • For Bedrock players they will have to connect with a randomized port that is assigned to your server and for Java they will have to use the full IP and also port.
  • You will not be allowed to request for a default Bedrock Port (19132) or Java port (25565)
  • Even though we mentioned you will have less issues connecting and adding the IP to your domain it does not mean you cannot do it, you can still not have a Dedicated IP and function with a domain. (SRV Records are required)
  • You will be sharing the same IPs (Meaning you will be sharing the same IP but different ports with other users on the host and not Dedicated to you.)
